“A Gentleman’s Condominium Makeover - Dark Wood, Saddle Leather and Custom Bedding”
“I am extremely happy with my condo and the end results of the project.”
“My relocation back to Seattle, WA from an overseas work assignment was made simple and enjoyable by using Belltown Design’s services. My new 20th floor condominium in Downtown Seattle is meant to serve as a ‘home away from home’ during the work week, walking to and from my office, while on weekends, living in Tacoma closer to family. Then Covid hit.
I had no ideas, or game plan, for how to fully furnish a condo, let alone doing the whole project virtually. Paula and her team worked well within my budget, made great selections tailored especially to my style, and convinced me to think a little outside of the box, I’m not a fan of shopping, and Paula was patient and flexible working with me. Example: Paula advocated for custom bedding – something I certainly never would have thought of – but, she helped me to understand how comfort and details such as that can make all of the difference! Her choices were spot-on and always illustrated well by imagery and written descriptions to make sure I knew what I was purchasing. I am forever grateful.
I was dreading having to spend my limited free time shopping for apartment furnishings yet, I never had to leave my house, or drive from random store to store – all I had to do was make choices from the great recommendations the Belltown team sent over. I am extremely happy with my condo and the end results of the project. I’m a big guy living in a small space and I need a floor plan that I can move around easily - essential to my own well-being. Thank you Paula and team for creating a great space that suits me so well.”

A “home away from home” during Covid, this solo client was to be able to move into this upper level, high rise condo with just a suitcase, having created a beautiful and functional space just for him. With massive panoramic views from the 20th floor in the living room, dining room, and bedroom, we appointed an accent wall color scheme for definition and character. This was the first of our purely virtual interior design projects using innovative and thorough communications, a one bedroom, two bath, 1,200 square foot condo became his safe haven, indeed!
This client participated intimately in making all selections, despite us rarely seeing each other face to face creating a clean, modern, masculine interior of leather, metal, wool, and wood. The wall art selections were all quite deliberate, as he provided us with his likes and dislikes to best express his personal story. Upon our encouragement, this client purchased an original painting by a local artist for his living room above the sofa, using our remote guidance and leg work while visiting the artists’ studio.
