This two-bedroom contemporary condominium on the north edge of Belltown was built in 2000 – overlooking Elliot Bay near the Seattle Art Museum Sculpture Park. With luminous natural light, our full remodel included all rooms – 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and dining room. Featuring a BTD signature wall color scheme, Hilliard handmade lighting fixtures, and an outstanding personal collection of California landscape paintings, we had plenty of décor to remodel around. We retained what we could in the kitchen, painting the cabinetry with Farrow and Ball’s warm London Stone, and selecting modern, updated stainless-steel appliances. The powder room became a refuge, using grass cloth wallpaper to give a natural, spa-like atmosphere. The living room is designed with a light contemporary aesthetic, with watery blues and beachy, weathered whites, while the new fireplace design brought this space from the 1990s to 2023 by extending the surround to the ceiling with large, modern, black porcelain tiles.
