After evaluating several color consultants, these clients came across BTD’s website and immediately sensed an expertise and sensibility that was consistent with what they were looking for. We designed and presented a wall paint color palette that flowed seamlessly from room to room with stunning colors that look both fresh & modern and like they could’ve been chosen when the home was built. We wanted the colors to feel perfect in each room with the woodwork, furnishings, and in the lighting, and they do! We applied our unique understanding and eye for all aspects of color choice, and how colors evolve with lighting, weather, seasons, and time of day. 

We were able to whittle down countless beautiful wallpapers into a few stunning designs that more than complements each bathroom; they MAKE the bathroom! We guided fabric choices and worked with an artisan to sew cushions and pillows for several built-in benches / seating and these client’s antique Stickley Settle with new wedged cushions is finally comfortable! They commissioned two handmade chairs from a furniture builder, and we fabricated cushions for those too! We also helped these clients choose woven wood window treatments throughout the house that offer a nod to the Arts & Crafts aesthetic and are also usable and modern. We designed a recessed lighting plan for the main floor of the house that is easy to adjust to every lighting need, and we introduced a lighting supplier that made stunning, period-authentic Craftsman fixtures. We upgraded hardware for the many built-in cabinets and doors adding another beautiful element to unify the entire home. We also worked with these clients to refinish the basement concrete floors to a lovely matte finish in gorgeous copper tones.
