“Belltown Design will, with no question, be our “go-to” for other future projects.”

“We consider ourselves lucky finding Belltown Design as we sought to find a designer to update  1914 Craftsman Four Square home I was raised in. Paula began her process by sharing her design vision through beautiful and detailed hand-illustrated drawings of two primary living spaces that provided us a “look and feel” and nailed what we had discussed with her at our initial meeting.

Belltown Design will, with no question, be our “go-to” for other future projects. Paula and team are highly recommended for anyone seeking an experienced designer with a meticulous eye for color and aesthetic without compromising function or quality. We could go on and on about the beauty and function Belltown Design brought to our home. Thank you Paula and Belltown Design!”

Pacific Northwest design comes in in all shapes and sizes. From the exterior façade to an interior woodwork refresh; from hardwood floor refinishing, to pulling up old flooring and carpeting. We designed and built new storage solutions according to family needs and tweaked the floor plan according to traffic flow. We transformed bottlenecked areas into free flowing by designing custom cabinetry to solve clutter issues. Our wallpaper patterns are nature-influenced, an Art Nouveau / Japanese style statement.

The foyer was cluttered with baseball gear, backpacks, coats and boots so we designed and built cabinetry so everything would be out of sight out of mind! The living room’s hi-lo mix of furnishings is a combination of both new and rare-find consignment pieces. Dark wood slat window blinds marry well with this warm and personal style, and a beautiful, tufted, green velvet sectional creates the ideal place for the family to hang out. We refreshed the fireplace with paint and tile, and the dining room set was custom made in Cherry wood, paired with the brushed brass Corona chandelier. The dining room draperies are sumptuous, in iridescent gold taffeta, naturally elegant. The Powder Room has a fresh, new look, crisp, white painted wainscoting, and gold leaf wallpaper. Compositions like this Powder Room, come together by joining the right elements and accessories like this leaded glass window by Jonathon Clarren.

The stairwell is the core passageway in this home. Gingko patterned wallpaper is meaningful and gives the space the saturated colors to complement rich, dark wood tones, and the Japanese inspired Origami Pendant fixture with cork shade from Hubbardton Forge. The second floor Home Office was designed to accommodate for this individual’s workload and lifestyle; a nook integrated within the rest of the household, with “tweenaged” boys still afoot. The office has ample lighting, both natural and artificial, is equipped with both closed and open shelving, supplies cupboards, drawers and file cabinets, and is fully ergonomic! The Primary “Hawaiiana” Bedroom furniture is “tropical” in style. Teak Wood, upholstered with natural canvas rails and headboard. Green glass says “beachy, both lamps and vases. Linen bedding, birdie fabric with White Shaded walls to give this room a fresh and breezy air. The roman blinds were made using a Pierre Frey palm tree fabric, and these become the impact in the room because without them it could be “any” bedroom😊
