Master Bedroom and Home Office

This Bank Executive / Mom works full time from home. Accounting for this way of life, we began the office design by analyzing the space to accommodate for this individual’s workload and lifestyle. The office nook remains integrated within the rest of the household, with “tweenaged” boys afoot. Still sequestered upstairs, Mom fulfills her role as a professional, while keeping an ear on the household activities. We designed this space with ample lighting both natural and artificial, sufficient closed and open shelving, and supplies cupboards, with drawers and file cabinets.

Home Office

Clear Birch Wood cabinetry with oil rubbed bronze hardware, this office is contemporary and ergonomic at the same time. The space is designed for both personal adjustment and comfort, with a pop of orange to keep it all alive.
Both professionally and at home, this client gets the job done. Lighting fixtures are specified from Rejuvenation and Hubbardton Forge, the office remains a place of its own, integrating well within the rest of the house.

Master Bedroom and Sitting Room – Hawaiiana Style

With these client’s fondness for Hawaiiana style, the Master Bedroom is a sacred space for both a peaceful rest and an infusion of positive energy. The furnishings are tropical style Teak Wood by Tommy Bahama, upholstered with natural canvas rails and headboard. Green glass says “beachy” through and through, both on the lamps and vases, along with linen bedding and birdie fabric by Lexington for the bed runner and bolsters. We painted the trim with Wimborne White and the walls in Shaded White by Farrow and Ball, to give this room a fresh and breezy air.
We selected Pierre Frey embroidered palms fabric for custom Roman Shades, designed by Belltown Design, and fabricated by Leslie Petty Studios in Seattle. Wall and ceiling lighting fixtures are the Dahlia Collection from Hubbardton Forge.
There is nothing like taking a laid-back seat on the Flight Recliner by Design Within Reach on a Sunday afternoon. With the terrace doors open to enjoy a martini and cigar, using the TB Pineapple Side Table – the sitting room feels like being on vacation.

This client knows the Na Pali Coast well, having spent much of her younger days hiking along those trails on the island of Kawaii. She fell in love with this vintage poster at Anderson Design Group in Nashville, the perfect finishing touch for a Master Bedroom “to die for.”

This project features extensive designs for wardrobe and dresser built-ins, providing much needed storage in the Master Bedroom. The cabinets are two toned with bamboo facing, integrating well with the Main Foyer cabinetry, designed by Belltown Design and built by Cabinet Pak earlier in this home’s remodel process. Thank you to Cabinet Pak for engaging with us in this symbiotic partnership for Belltown Design’s custom cabinetry.
